A fourth indictment by former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), this time for allegedly attempting to manipulate the results of the 2020 election in the state of Georgia, sparked controversy among Republican detractors and supporters on Tuesday.

This opinion is shared by Republican Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, who accused President Joe Biden of arming the government against Trump and attacked Willis, claiming that he was charged with seeking “fundraising for his political career

Several candidates for republican candidacy also spoke out to the presidency, including businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who called the accusations “another disastrous accusation from Trump.”

Ramaswami declared that he was ready to help in legal defense of the former president and offered to write a statement to the court that the prosecutor’s office “should not decide on the issue of the US presidential election.”

The former Republican nominee, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, however, showed his opposition to the former president and asked him to withdraw from the race for the White House: “More than a year ago, I said that the actions Donald Trump they stripped him of his right to hold the presidency again.
