In a social media post, Villavicencio assured that the Sinaloa cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) are responsible for the criminal operations that take place in Ecuador.

“We won’t let organized crime run these killer schools, so drug criminals from Colombia and Mexico, continue to claim innocent victims in this country,ā€ he said.
