Android 14 is almost here! The first developer preview was released in February, and we’re now in beta 5. Google considers beta 5 almost a final build and released beta 5.1 recently with a few fixes. The update is already available as an over-the-air (OTA) patch for Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5 series, Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet.
The update fixes disconnections, blank home screen and SIM card issue. You can see the full list of fixes taken directly from Google’s release notes below.
Bug fixes are minor, so Android 14 is probably ready for a stable release. Pixel and Pixel Fold tablet owners will receive this patch as follows: UPB5.230623.005.A1while other available Pixels get the structure UPB5.230623.005. You can update your device by going to Settings > Software > Software Update.
