As part of one of the artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a unit with a 155-mm M777 howitzer was created. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released a video showing the operation of the battery in the war zone.
Fighters were fired from howitzers already used to perform combat missions. In the arsenal of the Scythians, both high-explosive (M795) and active jet projectiles (M549) were detected, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 40 km.
The gunners howled. The battery uses an American M1083A1P2 tractor with an armored cabin as a means of towing and transporting ammunition and personnel.
