The Pasadena Police Department in Texas said they have arrested Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez for his alleged involvement in the murder and sexual abuse of a minor of Guatemalan origin identified as Maria Gonzalez.
Garcia Rodriguez was arrested in Shreveport, Louisiana after the Harris County Attorney’s Office accepted an aggravated murder charge against him.
“Our investigators have obtained corroborating information as well as evidence implicating Garcia Rodriguez,” the Pasadena Police Department said in a statement.
The subject was admitted to the Caddo County Jail (Caddo Correctional Center) this Saturday, where he will remain pending his extradition to Texas.
