WhatsApp has launched an improved message editing feature for iOS and Android devices. This new feature allows users to edit captions on different types of media such as images, videos, GIFs and documents even after they are posted. Users can access this feature by updating their WhatsApp to the latest versions on both platforms.

Despite the initial delay, this feature is now widely available. Users can check its availability by tapping and holding the latest message with subtitles.

However, the advanced editing feature is limited: edits can only be made within 15 minutes of sending a message, and only from the device that originally sent the message.

This messaging enhancement allows users to enhance their messages by adding clarity and context after they are sent. It helps improve messaging quality by offering the flexibility to enhance captions for images, documents and more.

How to use the Edit Signature feature:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your device.
2. Open the chat where you recently sent a signed message.
3. Tap and hold a specific message with a signature.
4. If this feature is enabled for your account, you will see the “Edit Signature” option.
5. Select the Edit Signature option.
6. Make the necessary changes to the signature.
7. Make sure you edit within 15 minutes of sending the original message.
8. Confirm and save the changes.

Apart from that, WhatsApp has recently introduced other interesting features such as landscape mode, screen sharing during video calls and sending higher resolution images.
