The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is a new gaming monitor that the Taiwanese manufacturer unveiled at Gamescom 2023. And it’s really impressive.

The ASUS monitor is sized 32 inches, ideal for a good viewing experience, but not gigantic enough to fit on a desktop. Its panel is OLED, which promises great image quality, deep black levels and the best color rendering. Use technology Second generation Quantum Dot OLED which goes a step further in brightness (1000 nits), contrast and clarity of text.

Its native resolution is a 4K which until recently was not very widespread in the gaming market. The refresh rate wasn’t impressive either. Until now, because this ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM provides a truly impressive refresh rate: 240 Hz. Very few 4K monitors reach this level, let alone with an OLED panel. The monitor supports NVIDIA G-Sync image synchronization technology and has a response time 0.03 ms.

ASUS has vast experience in cooling systems applied to its graphics cards or laptops and transferred it to this monitor to extend the life of the product. In this way, the manufacturer mounted its own heatsink and graphene film behind the entire panel as protection.

It has video inputs HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 with Display stream compression (DSC) to increase bandwidth. Another interesting component in connectivity is the Smart KVM switch, which is compatible with a wide range of devices and allows simple keyboard shortcut to switch between different devices using keyboard and mouse.

It also supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode to display screen outputs from two devices simultaneously. Another USB Type-C port is configured to act as a USB hub and can charge connected mobile devices. The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM will be available in early 2024 and is undoubtedly level jump on monitors with that OLED panel with 4K resolution and a very high refresh rate.
