By adding generative AI to the Davis AI engine, Dynatrace hopes to increase the productivity of business, development, security, and operations teams.

Enterprises can now receive recommendations from generative AI, with the necessary context and specifics of the hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystem reflecting the enterprise.

Dynatrace wants to simplify many tasks with the improved Davis AI Engine. Further automation and the creation of dashboards that allow employees to focus on other things are cited as examples.

Because generative AI is inherently probabilistic, its added value depends on the quality of the training data and user instructions. Therefore, generative AI can be significantly improved by merging it with causal and predictive AI.

This creates a “hypermodal AI” in which each type of AI is characterized by its specific capabilities:

• To forecast – By using predictive AI models, recommendations can be made based on past data. These include revenue and customer experience trends, seasonal trends, and the health of cloud applications.
• Establish Causal AI can provide fact-based, deterministic and accurate answers and intelligent automation by analyzing interactions between large observability, security and business datasets. This preserves the precise context of each original data point.
• Create – Using generative AI, recommendations can be made on how to approach specific tasks in the context of the customer’s environment and situation.

Davis AI predicts future behavior based on past data and observed patterns. This allows organizations to anticipate future needs and issues related to the performance and security of their applications.

Using Davis causal AI, Dynatrace analyzes real-time data within the Dynatrace Grail Data Lakehouse and causal dependencies from the Dynatrace Smartscape topology. This provides answers and automation needed for problem prevention and automated risk mitigation.

Finally, Davis CoPilot’s generative AI works with Dynatrace’s causal and predictive AI to automatically make recommendations, suggest workflows and dashboards, or allow humans to use natural language to research, solve problems, or complete projects. Tasks.
