ISRO, “Chandrayaan-3 performed a successful soft landing on the Moon!” said.
The landing was deemed successful at 15:34 Kiev time on Wednesday, August 23.
Space.com states that India is the fourth country to perform a soft landing mission on the moon, after the Soviet Union, the United States and China.

As Ukrinform reports, on July 14, the Indian Space Research and Development Organization (ISRO) launched the Chandrayaan 3 mission to the Moon.
The mission has landed near the Moon’s south pole and will survey its surroundings for approximately one lunar day (about 14 Earth days).
