While it was possible to manually navigate to a particular user’s profile, users could not view their account, send or reply to messages, or even log into their accounts from browsers.

At the beginning of July, company Meta launched the Threads text service, created for exchanging text messages and expected to compete with Mask’s social network X (formerly Twitter), Ukrinform reported. Threads has a control panel similar to X’s.

The program can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

It gained popularity very quickly – more than 100 million users signed up within a month and a half of its launch.
