The launch of the carrier rocket was carried out at 12:59 Beijing time from the spaceport in northwest China.
The Jilin-1 Kuanfu 02A satellite was placed into the planned orbit. The world will transmit remote sensing data and provide services to industries such as geodesy, the construction of “smart” cities, agriculture and forestry.
CERES-1, a small-scale solid-fuel launch vehicle developed by Galactic Energy, is capable of carrying microsatellites into orbit. The total length of the rocket is about 20 meters, and the take-off weight is 33 tons. It can launch a 300 kg payload into a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 500 km.
