As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported on the NASA blog.
NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 mission, the agency’s seventh commercial crew rotation mission, launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the International Space Station early Saturday, August 26.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched the Dragon spacecraft into orbit with four astronauts from the United States, Denmark, Japan and Russia.
“At the station, the crew will perform more than 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations to prepare for missions to the Moon, Mars and beyond that benefit humanity on Earth,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson.
Experiments will include collecting microorganisms from outside the space station, the first study of human response to different periods of spaceflight, and examining the physiological aspects of astronaut sleep.
The Dragon spacecraft, called “Edurance”, will arrive at the orbital station around 9 a.m. on Sunday, August 27. The broadcast of the arrival of the astronauts will be published on the NASA website.
As Ukrinform reports, SpaceX sent four tourists from Florida to the International Space Station. The crewed Crew Dragon spacecraft docked with the International Space Station (ISS) on May 22. The eight-day mission was successfully completed on May 31.
