The social media platform X now offers verified companies and organizations the opportunity to post job offers. The new feature is called Hiring and is currently in beta.

Hiring also has its own X account and has posted more details about the possibility. Job postings appear between an account’s bio and posts, and those curious can click to view a list of all job postings.

Verified companies can indicate three things for each vacancy:

• The function (title)
• The country or countries where the requisition is active
• A minimum and maximum salary

Interested companies can register online form Subscribe to this beta version. If X decides that the organization meets the requirements, the platform activates the features for the account in question.

All in one

This option has already been mentioned as one of the many innovations that Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino say they want to use to transform the platform into a virtual town square where (verified) users can find everything they need online. X needs to become an app that includes all of that. When the platform was still called Twitter, shortly before the name change, app observer Nima Owji had already become aware of the job posting function divided.

Over the past few months, Musk and Yaccarino have pitched several ideas to the world, some more specific than others. In any case, video calls are already on the way, the X CEO confirmed in a recent interview. Those who prefer to stick to one big piece of text may soon be publishing a proper book on X when Musk matters. The latter is also reserved for verified accounts.
