Insight Enterprises acquires Amdaris. With the takeover, the large integrator wants to expand its portfolio with additional expertise in software development.
Insight buys British software developer Amdaris. Amdaris is headquartered in the UK but also has multiple offices in continental Europe. The company specializes in software development as well as support and advice on the digital transformation of companies. With the takeover, Insight wants to expand its own solution portfolio.
Amdaris is no small shrimp and employs more than 800 people. The company supports digital transformation projects and can call itself a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Amdaris supports companies by outsourcing experts and offers tailor-made solutions for almost all digital challenges on-premise and in the cloud.
Better for customers
“The acquisition of Amdaris will enable Insight to grow significantly, strengthen its technology capabilities and offer a broader range of services and solutions to customers across EMEA,” said Adrian Gregory, President of Insight EMEA, of the acquisition.
Both parties state that the integration will be a positive story for their respective clients, who will gain access to more skills and expertise. Insight is not disclosing the terms of the acquisition. For example, the acquisition amount is unclear, as is the extent to which Amdaris will be integrated with Insight.
