The Galaxy S23 FE could hit the market this month of September, and it seems that Samsung already has it completely finished and ready for an early launch. In this direction, the latest leaks point, which not only allowed us to see their specifications, but also allowed us to do so compare your performance with the Galaxy S23.

The results are very interesting and the truth is that I have to admit that the Galaxy S23 FE ranked above my expectations because I expected a bigger difference in favor of the Galaxy S23. We also have to take into account that the differences that appear in synthetic performance tests are always larger than those that we can appreciate in real-use tests.

Galaxy S23 FE vs. Galaxy S23: Specs and performance

The Galaxy S23 FE will be a high-end smartphone that will be at a cheaper level than the standard model. We do not yet have specific details on the selling price, but the difference should be at least 200 euros for the first one to be interesting, since as we will see below, it will have more modest specifications.

Benchmark performance on Geekbench 6

In the attached graph, we see both terminals against each other in the well-known Geekbench 6 CPU performance test. In this case, the Galaxy S23 FE version was used, which is equipped with SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen1while the Galaxy S23 uses SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen2.

The difference between them is small, because the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen2 wins by 18.6% single-threaded and 17.1% multi-threaded. This means that when working with real applications, we hardly notice any differences. The two models used in this test were configured with a total of 8 GB of RAM.

If this is accompanied by the price, it is clear that the Galaxy S23 FE could be a good alternative to the Galaxy S23, although in the end it will also depend on the price and the offers available for the latter, namely I came to see that it is available for less than 800 euros in the version with a capacity of 128 GB.
