ChatGPT will get an Enterprise variant that can answer faster and more complex questions. The chatbot can also keep your trade secrets.
OpenAI announces ChatGPT Enterprise in a blog. This is a more powerful version of GPT-4 aimed at professional users, especially large companies. ChatGPT Enterprise no longer has any limitations on the number of requests you can submit, and it can also respond twice as fast as “regular” ChatGPT.
The biggest advantage, however, lies in the privacy controls. Businesses using the Enterprise version have more control over the data they share with ChatGPT. OpenAI also promises that no data will be used to train the models. Microsoft promises the same thing with its Bing Chat Enterprise formula.
With this, OpenAI wants to offer a solution to the main reason why companies are now banning the use of ChatGPT. The possibility of fine-tuning GPT-3.5 was already announced last week. It turned out that this was the stepping stone to ChatGPT Enterprise.
Advanced data analysis
ChatGPT Enterprise also comes with Code Interpreter feature by default. This allows you to run ChatGPT code and perform analysis or operations on multiple files at the same time. The feature is renamed to Advanced Data Analysis.
OpenAI also gives a taste of the future of ChatGPT Enterprise. Soon you will be able to connect the chatbot to the business applications via plugins to feed it with company-specific data, with the promise of course that ChatGPT will keep it secret. ChatGPT will also adapt to the user’s role and converse differently with a software developer than, for example, with a salesperson.
ChatGPT business
The price of ChatGPT Enterprise is not entirely clear yet. OpenAI is working hard to transition companies to the new formula. There will soon also be a business variant for smaller companies with similar functions.
