“Starting today, creators who receive a warning after violating the community guidelines will have the opportunity to complete a training course. Such a course will help creators understand how they can avoid uploading content that violates our policies in the future, the company said.
More than 80% of YouTube creators who receive a warning from the platform say they never break the platform’s rules again.
Engadget states that YouTube will remove the warning from their accounts if the creators follow this route and do not violate the same policy for 90 days.
However, if they violate the rules of the platform for which they were warned for the second time in this approximately three-month period, YouTube will remove the uploaded video and penalize the creator.
The creator who completed the training course and was cautioned for their first violation after 90 days, but subsequently violates this platform policy again, will be removed by YouTube and receive another strike.
These creators will be able to complete another training course to have the new alert removed from their account.
