South Korean company Samsung has announced the expansion of The Terrace outdoor TV lineup. An 85-inch version of the TV has been added to the models with a screen diagonal of 55, 65 and 75 inches. The novelty is currently available for pre-order, priced at $19,999.

It is not possible to use ordinary televisions outside for many reasons and primarily because they do not have environmental protection features. As a rule, TVs designed for outdoor use are expensive, and Samsung’s new product only confirms this.

Unlike smaller models, which are protected against moisture and dust according to the IP55 standard, the 85-inch The Terrace’s body is built according to the IP56 standard. This means that the TV is not afraid of rain. The flagship TV provides a higher quality image thanks to the use of a Neo QLED panel with a peak brightness of 1500 cd/m². The anti-glare coating makes watching TV comfortable no matter the lighting.

Terrace supports HDR10 Plus and Adaptive Display technology, which allows you to automatically adjust the brightness according to the ambient light. The design includes the Samsung Gaming Hub, which provides direct access to cloud gaming services. A solar-charged Samsung SolarCell remote is provided to control the TV.
