WhatsApp is preparing for one of the most radical design changes of recent times, and here again, not from the bottom button panel or the new settings menu, which are important changes, new style nuclear whitethe app is somewhat similar to that on iPhones.
Meta whitewashes WhatsApp interface remove the green beyond the logo application and color accents. The result is either pleasant or perverse, depending on who you ask.
For years at the top A green bar dominated WhatsAppit appears both in the overview (when filled with the WhatsApp logo and contextual options) and in chats when it shows the name and profile picture of the other person or group.
I hope you’re not too fond of the green bar in question because WhatsApp plans to paint it white. basically the whole app is white except for the logo it is green. Presumably, with the dark theme, everything will be dark and a shade of gray. It’s basically the same thing Google Play did five years ago.
In addition to wearing white, they will be added to the top buttons to filter conversations. As of today there are buttons to see all chats, unread messages, personal messages or company chats. From here on, the interface will remain the same as before.
we haven’t seen yet how the interface will look in chat, but it’s predictable that the same design will remain without a colored top bar, with white (or black if you’re using the dark theme) the dominant color. It’s a breath of fresh air for WhatsApp, which some will see as a modern twist, while others will see it as a descent into the same design that almost all messaging apps have.
Now this design is in internal testing and the result may be realized or set aside. Considering the latest WhatsApp design changes on Android and iOS, Meta seems to aim to standardize the way it looks across all mobile versions of the app.
