The German company AVM is preparing for its participation in IFA 2023, one of the most important events of this year, which will start tomorrow, September 1. The list of novelties that we will see in this event is quite comprehensive and thanks to the official statement sent to us by AVM, we have already I can tell you about some of their most interesting products who will be present at the event.

He FRITZ! Box 5690 Pro it is a high-performance premium router compatible with both optical and DSL connections. It has a classic and elegant design that fits perfectly in any space or corner of our home and office at the dosage level it borders on the good levelas we will see below:

Powerline 1240 AX, a high-performance device compatible with Wi-Fi 6 that will allow us to overcome any obstacle and bring our Internet connection to any corner of our home or office and enjoy high performance and the most advanced industry standards. These are its key features:

  • A compact adapter that quickly and easily integrates the device into the local network via power lines; Supports Powerline LAN, gigabit and Wi-Fi 6.

Finally we have FRITZ! DECT 350, a new contact sensor for doors and windows, with which the German company expands its ecosystem of home automation solutions for the smart home. With it, we can simply and more efficiently save and manage heating and air conditioning at home or in the office. Let’s take a look at its most important features:

When it comes to software, AVM has introduced two helpers to make our lives easier. On the one hand we have new MyFRITZ!App setup wizard, compatible with Android and iOS, which allows quick and intuitive commissioning of the new router in this series through our smartphone. It will also give us useful tips for guest Wi-Fi access, parental control, call blocking and other features.

Another application that AVM introduced is a guide for easy router change within the FRITZ!Box family without having to reconfigure the wireless network and reconnect different devices. For this, the wizard keeps all important settings of the previous wireless network (for Internet, telephony and Wi-Fi) and automatically registers all devices that were connected to the previous router.
