Earlier this month, Samsung launched the Android 14-based One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S23 series in select regions. One UI 6 Beta 2 was supposed to be released on August 29 but has now been delayed for another week.

Galaxy S23 series will get One UI 6 Beta 2 in September

According to the official statement, the South Korean technology giant plans to include China, India, Poland and the UK. These regions will receive an update on September 4, 2023. On the other hand, the second beta version of the next generation Android operating system can be released today (August 31, 2023) in Germany, South Korea and the USA.

The company shared the announcement on the official Chinese community forum, where a second delay to September was announced. Postponing beta release possibly due to bug issues. The first iteration of the early build of One UI 6 had minor issues with animations getting stuck or apps and widgets disappearing from the home screen. So it’s not surprising that Samsung took the time to polish its custom Android 14 skin to ensure better stability in the second beta.
