Giga Computing is showcasing two new servers based on Nvidia H100 GPUs and the latest generation Intel Xeon Scalable chips.

Giga Computing introduces the G363-SR0 and the G593-SD2. Behind these somewhat cryptic names are two GPU servers equipped with fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable chips and Nvidia Hopper H100 GPUs.

liquid cooling

The 3U-G363-SR0 uses direct liquid cooling to keep two CPUs and four GPUs fresh. The entire server is cooled with liquid. The device has two Xeon chips and four H100 GPUs on board. You also get eight 2.5-inch bays that support SATA, SAS, and PCIe5 NVMe drives. Giga Computing ensures a redundant power supply.

According to the manufacturer, liquid cooling makes the server more economical and efficient compared to an air-cooled system. Currently, air cooling is still the norm, but with the G363-SR0, Giga Computing aims to unlock tomorrow’s data center environments.

Eight GPUs

However, liquid cooling is not absolutely necessary to keep heavy servers sufficiently cool. This becomes clear with the also new G593-SD2. Despite the lower content, this server is only air-cooled. In a 5U chassis, you’ll find a 1U slot for dual-socket Intel Xeon chips at the top and a 4U slot for eight Nvidia H100 GPUs below.

By giving the components enough space, they stay fresh enough. The new server accommodates support for multiple Nvidia Bluefield DPUs for advanced networking capabilities.
