JBL Authentics is a new line of speakers that the American audio specialist introduced at IFA 2023. It combines the latest sound technology with a retro designvaluable to our taste.
JBL claims to have taken inspiration from its legendary L100 speaker from the 1970s to mark the spectacular design. Its aluminum chassis promises the highest quality and is complemented by a surface finish Synthetic leather. Reinvented for the occasion, the Quadrex grill, together with the attention to detail and the color combination, completes a device that should sound really great, but at the same time decorate any environment.
Thanks to them, JBL Authentics can be moved and used anywhere built-in battery and wireless connection including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The manufacturer, in cooperation with Amazon and Google, enables simultaneous access to the voice assistants Google Assistant and Alexa. Any of these can be used to voice control your device and other smart home devices, play music from multiple streaming services, and get maximum hands-free help at any time.

Services such as AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Chromecast are also integrated and can be managed via the JBL ONE app. The speakers have main physical controls as well as automatic settings. Every time you turn on the speaker, it automatically calibrates and optimizes the sound performance to suit the environment.

JBL Authentics version
The manufacturer will launch three different versions of this range, with different features and prices, with availability from September 17:
Authenticity 500. The top line is rated at 270 watts with DSP and can pack 3.1-channel sound with three 1″ aluminum dome tweeters, three 2.7″ center speakers and a 6.5″ subwoofer. It promises up to 8 hours of autonomy, has dual patented JBL Slipstream ports and Dolby Atmos support. Its price is 699 dollars.

Authenticity 300. In the middle of the range and the most balanced. It includes a 100W digital amplifier with DSP, 1″ silk rotary tweeters, a 5.25″ full-range woofer and a 6.5″ passive radiator. It will be available for $449.

Authenticity 200. Very similar to the previous one, it has a 90W digital amplifier with DSP, 1″ silk rotary tweeters, a 5″ wide-range mid-woofer and a 6″ passive radiator. Like the other versions, it supports Dolby Atmos, has a battery life of 8 hours, can use voice assistants and connects to streaming music services. Its price is 349 dollars.
