SafeSearch will always be enabled by default for every user from now on. Explicit images are blurred by default.

The new feature doesn’t change the way Google Search works at all. It does not affect the search results, but how they are displayed. Enabling SafeSearch for everyone by default automatically redacts explicit content. Whether you’re signed in or browsing incognito, SafeSearch is always on by default.

If you want, you can deactivate the function at any time, provided you have the appropriate rights within the organization. With this option enabled, you can also work with specific filters to choose how far you want to go.

Although Google focuses primarily on children in its announcement, it goes without saying that adults also prefer it when harmless or explicit content is thrown directly in their faces when they make a wrong search.

The new feature is currently being rolled out to all users worldwide.
