Today is an important day for ČEST. The Chinese giant will offer a kick-off event to celebrate its participation at IFA 2023, starting in a few minutes. You can watch the event through the video that you can find right below this articleand also through text, as we will expand the article as the most important announcements come.
The event is called “Unfold Tomorrow”, which means something like “unfold tomorrow”, but in fact we are waiting for a pun in English, which HONOR clearly refers to its foldable smartphones. These will be exactly the big protagonists of the event and we can bet specifically on them HONOR Magic V2, a terminal that is currently only available in China and could soon hit the international market.
It is also rumored that HONOR could use this event to make a presentation second flexible smartphone, that it will be aimed at users with tighter budgets and that it will use a clam design with horizontal fold. It’s not confirmed, so we’ll have to wait, though hopefully it won’t be too long.
We also hope to see a presentation at this event limited edition HONOR 90 called Peacock Blue, which will use the color blue and will be finished with gradient layers that will reflect light in different colors in honor of the real peacock. The keynote speaker at the event will be George Zhao, CEO of HONOR.
exactly as we expected HONOR Magic V2 was the big star of the event. It is one of the most compact and best-equipped foldable smartphones in the sector, as it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC and 16GB of RAM. You can see its complete hardware-level specifications in the attached table.

This foldable smartphone is made in high quality materials, as it uses magnesium alloy in the chassis and aluminum alloy in the hinge mechanism. The front and back are protected by glass, which translates into a completely premium look.
This smartphone has vertical folding, which allows us to use it as a regular smartphone, and also as if it were a small tablet. This represents an important added value because, as we can see in the attached image, we will be able to work directly on the screen, write on it with the stylus and give free rein to our most creative side.
Now let’s jump into HONOR V handbag, a conceptual design that adopts an elegant and very careful aesthetic and exudes style and quality, as we can see in the attached image. An ode to HONOR’s design and build quality, this foldable smartphone has a button on the back that lets you open and close it with a simple touch. It also stands out for being very thin (it’s only 9mm thick, less than the Galaxy S23 Ultra).
This terminal will fully customizable, which means that the outer screen will be able to imitate different patterns of bags and materials, which is undoubtedly very interesting and represents a clear innovation in the sector of folding terminals. Technology and fashion go hand in hand with this smartphone.
It can be used with different straps and different design elements that are displayed on the outer screen they will react to movement as if it were a “real bag”. For example, the beads in the picture move from left to right as the bag wobbles.
