This was reported by the Indian Space Research Agency ISRO. X networks (former Twitter), according to the news of Ukrinform.
According to the message, the rover completed its missions and was put into sleep mode for twenty days, but its batteries were charged and the receiver was on.
The payload is turned off and the solar panel is oriented to light at the next sunrise expected on September 22, when the rover will activate and return to Moon exploration.
“We hope for a successful awakening for the next missions!” – Says ISRO’s post. “Otherwise he will stay there forever as India’s moon ambassador.”
India became only the fourth country after the United States, China and the former Soviet Union to successfully land the Chandrayaan-3 module on the Moon with the Pragyan lunar rover, and even surpassed them by reaching the rugged South Pole for the first time.
“Pragyan” Covered more than 100mIt confirms the presence of sulfur, iron, oxygen and other elements on the Moon.
