IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 will usher in the era of electrification in the Indonesian automotive industry and provide Indonesians with green mobility solutions,” said a Hyundai Motor representative.

For the event, Hyundai will provide 272 IONIQ 5 vehicles and 74 IONIQ 6 vehicles, which are the official vehicles of the delegations’ First Lady leaders.

“The Importance of ASEAN: A Center for Growth” of the 43rd ASEAN Summit, which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from September 5-7, with the participation of the leaders of the 10 main countries of Southeast Asia. Topics such as green infrastructure, digital transformation, creative economy and finance will be discussed at the summit.

Hyundai had previously provided 117 IONIQ 5 vehicles for VIPs and First Lady delegation leaders at the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia, in May.
