Apple distributor and integrator Lab9 Pro takes over all of Igepa’s ICT-related activities in the Belux region, including the four employees.
Integrator and Apple partner Lab9 Pro takes over all Igepa ICT services in Belgium and Luxembourg. These activities represented a turnover of 1.5 million euros last year. The four employees working in our region within Igepa’s ICT branch will move to Lab9. Specifically, Lab9 will take care of the sales of Adobe & Microsoft packages, Apple products, servers, networks, system integration and automation projects for graphics companies.
More collaboration
With the takeover, the two parties are announcing an intensified cooperation. By transferring part of the activities to Lab9, Igepa and Lab9 would be completely complementary, they say. Together they support the entire print workflow of companies, from content creation with all hardware and software involved to printing in all formats. Lab9 has expertise in the first part of this workflow, Igepa retains its knowledge and skills in the latter area.
“As a company, we concentrate on our core activities,” says Dirk Salens, CEO of IGEPA Belux. The store we’re transferring to Lab9 Pro fits into this exercise. At the same time, we will work together within our areas of expertise to help our clients move forward.”
Since acquiring Switch, Lab9 has been working on raising the profile of its professional activities on the Belgian market. The company recently launched a leasing model for Apple hardware aimed at start-ups.
