federal judge in Texas ordered the state government this Wednesday to remove the barrier buoys installed on the Rio Grande (Large)on the southern border of the United States, until September 15.

Judge David Ezra of the Western District of Texas noted in his ruling that the 300-meter barrier constitutes an “obstruction of navigational ability” Rio Grande and reprimanded the Republican state government for not requesting federal clearance before installing it.

“Texas Behavior irreparable damage to public safety, shipping and the actions of federal agency officials in and around the Rio Grande,” the judge stressed.

The ruling also prohibits Texas from returning to buoy “or any structures” on the river.which is a victory for the Joe Biden government, which filed the original lawsuit against the floating barrier.

During the trial, the Texas government defended the installation of the buoys, accusing the Democratic administration of not defend the southern border from “invasion”which, he says, forced him to take action on his own to “protect himself.”

Judge Ezra rejected this argument.stating that it would be “shocking” as holding that power would give the governor of Texas “more power than the president of the United States has.”

“Essentially, the governor of Texas I could declare and start a war indefinitely on the Texas border without congressional authorization or oversight,” the judge wrote.

In turn, Ezra found that the state government did not provide “any credible evidence that the buoy barrier significantly reduced” illegal migration through the Rio Grande and that, in addition, poses a “threat” to people’s lives trying to cross the border.
