“Our mission is not to make swearing a taboo, but to create conditions for constructive and non-toxic communication without insulting dignity in the comments of Telegram channels and groups. Community administrators will be able to activate this feature at any time if they deem it appropriate. Dmytro Vakulenko, author and developer of the idea of UA Anti Spam Bot, said: for example, to reduce the flow of profanity or eliminate excessive rudeness,” he said.
As reported, the UA Anti Spam Bot was created to combat the posting of comments on Telegram containing strategic information about the course of the war in Ukraine in the early days of the full-scale invasion. The bot’s functionality was later expanded and it was also trained to remove various objectionable content: fake messages, links to phishing sites, 18+ content, etc.
