A new interface was discovered in WhatsApp in the Android beta version of Messenger. The first thing that immediately catches your eye is that the tab bar is now at the bottom, like on the iPhone. The “Status”, “Calls” and “Chats” tabs will remain in the panel, and the “Communities” section will also appear.
Filters have appeared at the top of the “Chats” section, when you click on them, the relevant correspondence will be displayed – these are “All”, “Unread”, “Personal” and “Work”. The background color of this area and the top row will also change from dark green to white. These changes make the app more similar to the iPhone interface.
There is currently no exact release date for when the updated WhatsApp interface will be available to all users, but since the beta program is open to the public, there will be no delay in the expected release.
Support for multiple accounts on a single device and the ability to pin messages in personal threads and chats will also appear in Messenger soon.
