American semiconductor company Qualcomm will supply 5G chips to iPhone manufacturer Apple by 2026.

Qualcomm has said it will supply Apple with chips for future phones through 2026.
Qualcomm did not disclose the value of the deal, saying only that the terms were “similar” to the previous agreement.
The American company announced that the patent licensing agreement signed with Apple in 2019 remains in effect. This agreement expires in 2025, but companies have the option to extend the agreement for two years.
Qualcomm signed an agreement to supply chips with Apple in 2019 after the two companies resolved a long-running legal dispute.
Qualcomm, whose shares rose 5 percent in early trading Monday, is a leading developer of modem chips that connect phones to mobile data networks.
As Ukrinform reports, the American semiconductor company Qualcomm will supply microcircuits for displays with infotainment systems for Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars.
