TikTok offers online shopping through a number of features in the main app. More than 150 million TikTok users in the United States will now be able to watch videos and livestreams with a link to purchase items in their feeds, as the app gives brands and sellers tools to create shoppable content.
TikTok also announced the shopping service’s integration with various platforms such as Spotify, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
Online shopping on TikTok is also available in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 30, the YouTube video platform launched an official channel for shopping in South Korea for the first time in the world.
