ASRock DeskMini B760 is a computer with a chassis measuring 155 x 155 x 80 mm and a volume of less than two liters halfway between a mini-PC and a desktop tower.
The goal is to achieve the best balance. The machine is slightly smaller compared to most typical ATX towers, but more versatile than a mini-PC thanks to the LGA 1700 socket board, which allows the user to choose their own 12th or 13th generation Intel processor.
ASRock says the board supports a maximum TDP of 65 watts, which suggests it could be installed up to Core i9-13900 with 24 cores and 32 threads gives an idea of its great potential. The machine can fit up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory in two SO-DIMM slots and dedicated graphics, even if it is in a stripped down version.
Storage part it is very well coveredwith an M.2 connector for Gen5 SSD, another M.2 Gen4 and two 2.5″ bays for installing SSD hard drives or SATA hard drives in RAID 0 or 1.
The connectivity ASRock DeskMini B760 benefits from increased size (compared to a typical mini-PC) and offers a good set of ports and standards:
Among the optional components, we see an M.2 E-Key connector for installing an optional Intel AX210 or AC3168 wireless card for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2; an aluminum heat sink, a fan for active cooling, and optional support for an RGB light strip that magnetically attaches to the chassis. You can display content on up to four monitors simultaneously.
No price was given, but Looks good for those who want to build a PC that maintains the compact size of a mini-PC while allowing it to approach the performance capabilities of a desktop ATX tower.
