Just yesterday we had the opportunity to see a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Part Two of what we know as Final Fantasy VII Remake. The first installment arrived on PS4 in April 2020 and then had a revision for PS5 called Final Fantasy VII Intergrade, which introduced graphical improvements and expanded its content, although it retained the limitations of the core development aimed at Sony’s old console.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth presents a very big development in every sense compared to that first installment and he made it clear in this new video which as you can see looks really spectacular. In the video, we can experience unique moments from the original work, among which the arrival at the Gold Saucer theme park and the various events and mini-games that can be experienced in it, such as chocobo races, stand out.

The video also captures some moments from Cloud and Zack’s past, allowing us to see new characters that will be available in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and shows some truly spectacular fighting moves where two characters can attack an enemy at the same time to deal more damage. The new characters that will appear in this volume are Vincent and Cait Sith. Red XIII will also become fully playable, while Vincent could be limited to a certain part of the game.

From what I’ve been able to see, it looks like the event will start at The Forgotten City, although we must keep in mind that the sequence of events and the development of the story may have changed significantly from what we saw in the original game from the late nineties. In this sense, I think we have nothing to worry about, because Square Enix did a good job with the first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga and There are reasons to trust them facing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Five things you should know about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

• It will be a limited-time PS5 exclusive, with a release date set for February 29, 2024.
• It will have a PC version that will be available just three months after the arrival of the PS5 version.
• It will be adapted to the current generation of consoles, so it will have a technical part much better than what we saw in Final Fantasy VII Intergrade.
• It will be so huge that it will come on two discs and offer around 100 hours of gameplay.
• It retains one of the most memorable, saddest and most controversial scenes from the original game. We’re not clear on what’s going to happen or what changes Square Enix might introduce from the original, but as you might have guessed, I’m talking about Aerith’s possible death.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth won’t be coming to PS4, so if you’ve played Final Fantasy VII Remake and want to enjoy the rest of the installments yet to come You have no choice but to buy PS5 or PC. If all goes according to plan, the series will conclude with a third installment arriving two to three years after Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
