Over the past seven days, the Russians have attacked Ukraine five times with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and the more compact Shahed-131. Once again, the Defense Forces were able to shoot down most air threats.
A major blow was dealt on September 10. Air defense managed to intercept 26 of 33 kamikaze drones during the night. The following night, 12 of the 12 UAVs were destroyed.
The biggest attack of this week took place on September 13. The Russians launched 44 attack aircraft, 32 of which were shot down. On September 14 and 15, Ukrainian sky defenders destroyed 17 out of 22 and 17 UAVs, respectively.
Thus, 128 Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were launched over Ukraine in 5 days. The Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 104 attack UAVs, that is, the effectiveness of the air defense system was over 81%. Source
