While Poland considered joining the South Korean fighter jet development program, the United Arab Emirates did so. The name of the aircraft is KF-21. The UAE has already purchased K239 Chunmoo multiple rocket launchers and South Korean-made Block II M-SAM air defense systems. In the case of KF-21, the Middle Eastern country will pay Indonesia’s share of the program.
The Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates signed 40 memorandums. Defense, nuclear energy, etc. An investment of 30 billion dollars is expected in South Korean companies representing these sectors.

Development of the KF-21 is nearing completion. In the summer of 2023, the sixth (last) fighter jet prototype made its first flight. The plane remained in the air for 33 minutes with Meteor missiles, but was not launched.
Korea Aerospace Industries had previously tested Meteor and IRIS-T missiles. Air-launched ballistic missiles such as the Russian X-47M2 and the Israeli Rampage are expected to be developed for the KF-21. Source
