Hisense is offering the Vidda S85, its latest addition to the gaming TV market, for pre-order for 5,399 yuan ($742).

Hisense Vidda S85 is a high-end gaming TV with a sleek metal body that elevates any gaming setup. It has a large 85-inch 4K display with a smooth MEMC 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support, making it ideal for gaming. The TV also features a wide color gamut covering 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 1.07 billion color combinations for vibrant and accurate colours.

From a technical perspective, Hisense’s Vidda S85 is powered by the A55 quad-core processor. Combined with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB flash memory, the TV is designed for easy gaming and streaming. It also offers dual-band Wi-Fi support, providing a stable and fast Internet connection for online gaming and content streaming.

As for the sound system, the TV is equipped with a 2.1-channel sound system. It produces a combined output of 2x18W for the main speakers and an additional 25W for the subwoofer. The inclusion of Dolby Atmos panoramic sound ensures depth and clarity of sound reproduction.

Hisense Vidda S85 comes with integrated TÜV eye protection and Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free technology to reduce eye fatigue during long viewing sessions. Additionally, smart screen casting capabilities allow users to project content from mobile phones, tablets, and computers. Far-field AI voice recognition enhances hands-free operation, making the TV useful for all age groups, including the elderly and children.

In August 2023, Hisense, including its sub-brand Vidda, took first place in TV sales in China, slightly ahead of Xiaomi, with sales of more than 600,000 units.
