Currently, 348,000 soldiers, 136,000 doctors and 74,000 SES officers are defending Ukraine, saving lives under fire, extinguishing fires and removing debris after bombing cities. Above all, they deserve support and gratitude, heroically fulfilling their duty for the happy future of Ukrainian children.
The country’s main post office, together with the Tsil Charity Foundation and the #YaDakuZSU volunteer movement, is starting a project where every Ukrainian, big and small, can express their gratitude to modern heroes by sending a picture or postcard to any Ukrposhta branch. All children’s drawings and brochures with words of support and hope for a peaceful life from adults and children will be given to soldiers in hotspots, as well as paramedics and rescue workers, defense and public services representatives across the country.
You can say “thank you” by drawing a picture. Ukrainian defenders, especially the army, are very fond of letters and drawings that Ukrainian children send to the front through volunteers. A child’s handwritten “thank you” and “return alive” are uplifting and empowering. With the support of Ukrposhta, the Tsil Charitable Foundation has announced a collection of drawings. The organizers of the project set a goal of collecting 500,000 drawings to support our heroes on all fronts. The creative work of young Ukrainians will be sent to the military units, hospitals and units, donated to personnel and will become the decoration of their premises.
Destination Foundation representatives will randomly select 500 drawings from all submitted works and convert them to NFT, and the proceeds will be auctioned to implement the Future Kindergarten project. The children’s author of the drawing, which will be sold for the highest price, will receive a gift for the drawing from singer Artem Pivovarov – Apple iPad Air and Apple Pencil.
“After the transfer of the children’s drawings to the front, NFT copies will be available in auction format on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange,” said Julian Poburko, President of the Tsil Charitable Foundation. “Proceeds from the sale will go to the implementation of the Future Kindergarten project, which should be built in the Chernihiv region in accordance with best world practices, in accordance with energy efficiency requirements.”
An animated video was created specific to the project, in which the soldiers of the 24th mechanized brigade, workers of the Lviv SES and a military hospital doctor were filmed.
“In the hour of war, Ukrainians united on all fronts to help the defenders bring our victory closer. And it is difficult to overestimate the role of logistics, especially at these hours. This is an opportunity to be close even if you are far away. Therefore, such warm and emotional initiatives with a common purpose We are happy to support – uniting Ukrainians who want to thank our defenders. A postcard with warm words of gratitude on the back and a wish to return victorious and alive and well, or a children’s picture of the world in Ukraine and brave people fighting for this world – everyone will be able to choose the appropriate format. Post Office stays in every small settlement, which means that every adult and young Ukrainian can send a postcard or picture with words of support to those who defend our Ukraine, ”said Ihor Smilyansky, Director General of Ukrposhta.
The national media partner of the project is the CityCites network of all Ukrainian city sites.
To participate in the project, you need to create a picture or take a free postcard in post offices in your area (you can choose a series of 5 postcards with pictures by “cats” Alice Zhabinets), write words of gratitude to the Ukrainian heroes and send them from May 17 to June 17.
