The new cumulative update of the Windows 11 operating system caused a number of problems on the network that users complained about. Among other things, computer game lovers suffered. The issues occur after installing the September 2023 mandatory update KB5030219 for Windows 11 version 22H2.
In some cases, the update causes the “Blue Screen of Death” (BSoD) to appear. There are also general system slowdowns, sound problems, issues with the Start menu, missing tabs in Explorer, and loss of network connectivity and Internet access some time after installation. There are also complaints that computers will not start after the update.
Players complain about the performance in games, especially Starfield. One of the victims says:
After uninstalling the update Starfield worked fine.
Judging by the reviews, the problem is not with Nvidia’s GeForce drivers as initially believed. Users state that problems occur even if the driver is not updated.
