“We created a facility that cleared 120 hectares of heavily mined land in 14 days. We conducted reconnaissance with Mavic Enterprise and Mavic 3T drones. The installation is very simple. The tractor passes through the mine-free zone, the facility is mined. Artyukhov said that the first part of it removed anti-tank mines, the other part He stated that he suppressed those related to anti-personnel mines and OZM-72 (anti-personnel barrage mine).

According to him, 5 people work in the team and 10 hectares of land can be cleared of mines per day. At the same time, agricultural lands are cleared of explosive materials as much as possible. Installation is inexpensive and is capable of demining the Mykolaiv region in the summer.

As the head of “Mine Clearing Ukraine” Kateryna Drozd added, the second direction of the company’s work is the analysis of minefields using unmanned aerial vehicles. Accordingly, the artificial intelligence running on the drone reads all information about minefields and explosive objects, so it is possible to create maps of minefields.
