5G is a wireless communications technology that replaces the current 4G. It’s much faster, more efficient, allows you to connect more devices, and exhibits less latency, allowing you to use it in areas that require immediate remote intervention.

Now we are working on 5G, we are meeting with a single company. I hope the pilot launch will be next year.

It is currently unknown which companies are working on the implementation of 5G. Probably, this is one of the mobile operators.

He also added that 4G is being developed in Ukraine. “During the total war, a lot of equipment was moved to reinforce certain areas. Over the past year, communications have been deteriorating. But the situation is changing.” – says Fedorov.

5G technology is still quite young. Today the number of users is just over one billion. China has achieved the greatest success in implementing next-generation communications. There are three main operators that handle distribution there. Approximately 1 million 5G base stations were built in the country in 2021. Today, just one Chinese city can have more stations than in all of Europe, said Meng Pu, chairman of the board of directors of Qualcomm China, commenting on China’s success in implementing 5G technologies.
