The Taiwanese manufacturer has refreshed its PC chassis and MSI’s new towers update the MPG GUNGNIR and MAG FORGE series with several models to choose from in size and finish. Modern towers must respond to increasing power needs and resulting increases in temperature, voltage, noise or footprint. And also take into account other sections like connectivity or aesthetics.

New MSI towers

The Taiwanese manufacturer has updated two of its main lines. The MPG GUNGNIR 300 series has a format a half-tower that allows mounting motherboards up to ATX or lower and is designed for mid-range computers. It features a 1mm perforated front panel and supports dual 360mm AIO liquid coolers simultaneously on the front/top side.

The MPG GUNGNIR 300 Series chassis serves as a positive heat dissipation solution for both the CPU and GPU in conjunction with a one-piece perforated front and four pre-installed 120mm fans. The graphics card can be placed horizontally or vertically and in this case You can mount three additional fans on the fan bracket on the cable cover and PCIe riser, improving the airflow channel between the graphics card and the motherboard. This is also beneficial cooling motherboard components such as SSDs.

The box has enough space for top graphics cards. An integrated omni-directional graphics card holder with 8mm tempered glass reduces the risk of flexing due to prolonged installation. The holder requires no tools and provides different positions depending on the size of the graphics card and a 90-degree rotation according to the user’s requirements. It also has an ARGB controller to customize the lighting.

As additional features, they have patented switchable PCIe mounts; sliding hard drive compartment; Cable cover for installation of additional fan brackets and latches to optimize installation. The series is sold in several versions, MPG GUNGNIR 300R AIRFLOW, MPG GUNGNIR 300R AIRFLOW WHITE and MPG GUNGNIR 300P AIRFLOW.

MSI’s new tower catalog also updates the mid-tower compatible MAG FORGE line GPUs of any size, ATX motherboards and power supplies of any power. A mesh front panel and a magnetic dust filter on the top optimize airflow, and a tempered glass window lets you show off your PC’s construction.

The series is available in two versions, the MAG FORGE 320R AIRFLOW with four pre-installed ARGB system fans and supporting a 360mm radiator, and the MAG FORGE 120A AIRFLOW with six Auto-RGB system fans with one On/Off LED button and compatible with a 240mm radiator .
