Ford partners with Reviver, which developed the world’s first digital license plates. That’s why the innovative Reviver PPlate plates will be available to Ford customers who purchase cars from more than 300 dealers in the states of Arizona, California and Michigan. The message also states that drivers in the listed states can also drive throughout the United States.

Initially, only 100,000 units of this type will be produced, which will only be fitted to the back of cars.

The Reviver digital license plate, which can display special messages depending on the settings, will be connected to the vehicle’s software. They can help track the car’s location and protect it from theft.

Reviver plates received a monochrome display with customizable text and changeable font. Digital plates can operate at temperatures between -40 and 80 degrees Celsius.

Two models of signs will be produced: one powered by a replaceable battery or providing a wired connection to the vehicle’s electronics, and the second with a wired power supply that requires professional installation.

As Ukrinform reports, on March 23, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced that citizens will once again be able to order individual license plates online through the driver’s electronic cabin.
