After the release of the Stories function (“stories”, “stories”) for Telegram Premium subscribers, the ability to publish “stories” became available on all channels. “This day has come. Stories can now be published on Telegram channels!”, – Pavlo Durov reported on his Telegram channel. He had previously said that he received requests from many users regarding the launch of Stories.
The Stories function appeared in Telegram’s previous update, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the messenger. It was later made available to Telegram Premium subscribers. With the release of the next update, “stories” will be able to be published by all channels, but this right will be given to Telegram Premium subscribers who can vote once a day for the channel they like.
The more votes the channel receives, the higher its level, and with each new level the channel has the opportunity to publish an additional “story” every day.
You can collect votes using special links t.me/durov?boost. The link to vote for the channel and information on how many votes are left until the next level are displayed in the channel settings under “More” > “Statistics” > “Votes”.
In “Story” you can add emoji stickers that show the number of users who chose this reaction. The user will be able to add a sticker reaction to the “story”, and the owner of the Telegram Premium subscription will be able to add up to five and add the author’s emojis.
Also in the “history” you can now download an audio file from the device’s memory by selecting the desired track. At the same time, in video stories, you can leave the original track and start a new track by choosing the moment you want.
Additionally, the messenger has updated the interface of self-destructing media files and added a one-time viewing function. The user can choose the length of time the media file will be available (from one-time viewing to 30 seconds). It is also reported that when a user’s account is logged in from another device, messages will now appear on the chat list. If the entry is made by someone else, the user will reply “No, it’s not me!” You can block access by selecting the option.
