The recent RazerCon 2023 brought us some very interesting news and of course the Razer Aether family is on that listbecause it expands the scope of the brand’s designs with an element that users increasingly appreciate, personalized lighting, undoubtedly contributed by content creators (especially streamers) who, with their colorful Settingshave expanded their interest in personalizing the physical space they dedicate to gaming.
That’s why Razer decided to enter this market, and does so with a wide variety of elements which in combination with each other can provide complex lighting schemes, completely personalized and of course configurable so that all elements work both in coordination with each other and connected to events and also synchronized with other devices, as the company has been concerned with making the Razer Aether fully compatible with Matter.
In case you don’t know what that is, Matter is an open source standard designed specifically for both connected home devices more generally for the IoT ecosystem. Unlike standards defined by big tech companies like Amazon, Apple, and Google (who support Matter standardization, by the way), this standard aims to be universal, ending device and platform exclusivity.
As you can see in the image above these letters, the Razer Aether family is born completely complete. These are its components.
As the name suggests, we are talking about two lamps with RGB LED lighting, designed to fit into different environments and with an average LED life of 25,000 hours. The standard model allows you to adjust the color of the lighting, while the Pro model, which you can see in the image on the left, has several light zones, allowing for more expressive and complex visual effects.
In this case, we find an RGB LED bulb that is available with two socket sizes (E26 and E27, to adapt to both the American and European markets), whose lighting is customizable using Razer Chroma RGB technology. It offers an adjustment range of 16.8 million colors and can be configured with various visual effects.
For users who prefer a lighting element that can be adjusted to different profiles, which is not visually prominent and can cover a larger area, this RGB LED light strip, 2 meters long strip of lights is definitely an option. , and which, with an optional adapter, enables connection to multiple belts.
