According to iDropNews, Apple has decided to hold a fall event to launch the new devices, which will take place on September 13.

Apple is preparing to introduce the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. This year, Apple will widen the gap between professional and non-professional iPhone models. It is reported that Apple will equip the iPhone 14 Pro 4 nm SoC A16 Bionic, while non-professional phones can use the 5 nm SoC A15 Bionic used in the iPhone 13.

Most consumers have no idea what SoC the phone is built on. Reusing the SoC could help Apple make the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max more competitive in price. Even if Apple reuses the A15 Bionic SoC on non-professional iPhone 14 phones, it may still give them a different name like A16 Bionic. The new platform will then be called the Apple A16 Pro SoC.

Other differences include replacing the cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro with an “i-shaped” cutout for the FaceTime camera and True Depth camera. By the way, there will still be bangs on inexpensive non-professional models. Other improvements to be found on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max include a 120 Hz ProMotion display and a 48 MP wide-angle camera.
