Slovakia-based Simple Mobile Tools has announced its own smartphone, the Simple Phone.

The company is primarily known for its developments in the field of alternative Android apps with minimal set of permissions. And the brand’s future innovation will follow this course on privacy.

It is reported that all the standard programs in it will be replaced by branded alternatives. In this case, instead of the standard Google services, the smartphone will use microG.

It is currently unknown which programs will be installed on Simple Phone by default – the company is actively studying this issue. Simple Mobile Tools is known to search for the right browser and email client.

Note, too, that the developers did not reveal the device’s release date and cost.
