This integrated cycling computer attaches securely to the handlebars and acts as a smartwatch for your bike. It brings new features and a host of apps and widgets to your ride.

Slovenian company Core Components claims the CoreCap is the first bike computer that attaches directly to the steering wheel. You can put multiple batteries in the frame as you don’t need to hang the computer on the steering wheel.

It automatically turns on and starts recording trip indicators for further downloading to the program via Bluetooth. You can currently use up to five tracked gauges from a list that includes: speed, average speed, top speed, distance traveled, total distance, time, travel time, total time, stopwatch, altitude change, maximum altitude, current altitude, navigation tips , notifications on smartphone and more.

Core Components claims the CoreCap case is designed to withstand bumps when riding off-road, as well as extreme weather and dirt. The team says it has been developing the device since April 2021 and has been testing prototypes since November. It is now available to pre-order on Kickstarter for 229 euros.

Delivery is scheduled for April 2023.
