Ever since the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, people have been having trouble launching Android Auto. Many users complained that the phone only charges and does not mirror the Android Auto interface to their car’s infotainment system. Now the problem seems to be fixed.

Google has released a new Android Auto version (version 7.7) that seems to have fixed the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra cable-related issues. This new update is currently in beta, but you can download the APK and install it on your Galaxy S22 series smartphone.

However, the new update seems to have introduced a new problem. Some users are seeing a black screen in their car’s infotainment system even after a successful connection. But this isn’t just due to the Galaxy S22 series, even Pixel smartphone owners started reporting this issue so it looks like Google needs to fix it.

Some users even claim that their Samsung device reboots after the black screen shot. Even though Google noticed that this issue has been fixed in the bug tracking system, people are still facing this issue. It looks like Google still has work to do in its Android Auto app. Source
